Kevin, a little story for you. There was a point in my life when I could have walked away from ship modelling... I was working through Occre's Beagle and wondering if maybe I'd finish it, and then go back to plastic aircraft models. Airfix's 1/24 Spitfire was sat on my hobby room shelf. Amongst others.

Then I started following your Indefatigable log on MSW.

From then on, there was no looking back.

I hope you can see this as a compliment as intended, but your log was so human. The dogs joined in. Things went wrong. Mistakes were made. You overcame all problems and mishaps and talked about them. I started to think.... could I do this too?

So, yes, I ended up ordering my own Indy kit, and you're mainly to blame for all the fun I'm having building it and rambling on about it in my own build log.

Really looking forward to following your Surprise build, day by day.

This is what I like about build logs. You'll never see my mistakes as they are fixed before photos for the manual.
