Plenty of room for everyone

Had a surprise with a Surprise on Friday, but not going to start for a bit, so will watch a long. Good to see the supervisors are on the job.

Hello @Kevin

A good level of progress, well done.

Did you remember to deepen the two topsail sheet bitt slots on gun port deck beam 12, as mentioned in the build manual (page 18, step 66)? Looking at your photo's it would appear not but I am not sure if you had glued the beams in place.

Also have you decided what to do with fitting the main mast. Please see my post on this topic and Chris's reply.

day 6 final parts to stage and pva wash

the final parts were added and then a diluted pva wash into all the joints, tonight she feels strong

a few gunport sides came adrift i will put them on tomorrow

i never did anymore today, ive disturbed a wasps nest in the garden, i was stung yesterday which is now a worrying lump on my side under the arm pit, i may seek medical help tomorrow, and then i was stung again today at least twice one on the ear and another on my collar bone, but tonight i feel i may have more on my back

Hope the bites were not to serious, wasps are nasty little predators but do some good deeds for the environment. This built is rocketing along is an amazing feat of wooden engineering in your very capable hands.

Phil.
