I noticed that the latest post list on the right hand pane of the DDM homepage doesn't group the latest posts for individual build logs, but itemises each new post on a build log in succession - so the "latest post" list is often taken up by many posts to 1 log. The old MSW used to group new posts together for individual build logs, so there were always different ones on the list - meaning it was easier to find many different logs day-to-day. Is it possible to change a setting to group new posts for individual logs together so that more logs are highlighted in the "latest post" area - I usually use that list as a way of discovering builds, but the way it is set up now makes this a lot more difficult......If it isn't possible or too much trouble, that's alright - but wanted to put it out there to ask just in casehamilton
September 27Sep 27 The old latest post sidebar worked the same way. Its just that folks are recreating their logs and posting multiple times in a short period. Once that log recreation subsides it will all be back to normal.Chuck
September 27Sep 27 I agree with Hamilton, I'm not sure if it was a personal setting I changed although I feel like I would remember that, but the old MSW latest post sidebar was different for me as well, it was much more useful as it only showed a forum thread once in the Latest Post sidebar instead of every reply to that thread. I've been looking around for settings but can't find anything that made it the way the old MSW was for me. September 27Sep 27 I believe the same phenomenon is occurring on the new MSW. September 27Sep 27 The widget is supposed to be a visualisation of the "Latest Posts" activity stream, which you can access in the top right corner: And I changed the settings for the Latest Posts to only list topics, not individual comments. It works when I open the activity stream, but there is no effect for the widget on the main page.
